About our staff

The spirit of COMACO are the people who make it happen, who believe in its goodness, and value its benefits for the people of Zambia. At the very core of this spirit is a team of talented and motivated Zambians who work for Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS). As an organization dedicated to helping conserve wildlife and wildlands throughout the world, WCS remains focused on developing the Zambian capacity needed to sustain COMACOs success well into the future. All of us who have had a hand in building COMACO as an example of how conservation can work to improve the well-being of rural poor are proud to be part of a team who see a common vision for COMACOs role in Africa. While you may not have a chance to meet all these wonderful people, we will feature a COMACO staff member of the month for his or her contribution to show how one person has made a difference.

Wildlife Conservation Society is proud to be associated with the People of Zambia, its Government and the many local institutions and partners WCS works with. It is also proud to have so many fine and dedicated Zambians working for WCS, contributing in ways that are profoundly important to the future of their country and its natural resources. WCS values greatly this relationship with Zambia and the very positive contributions so many of its citizens have brought to COMACO, helping it become an enduring landmark for conservation and rural development in Africa.
