Community Resources Board

Community Resources Boards are empowered under the Wildlife Act of Zambia to manage and protect wildlife resources within their domain of influence as defined by local chief boundaries in partnership with the Zambia Wildlife Authority. Members are elected leaders from within the community. In return they receive a share of the legal revenues generated from the legal use of wildlife resources.COMACO benefits greatly from the partnership of these boards to help direct and support various COMACO activities, which in turn provide effective ways to increase wildlife in their area for their own revenue gains.
