Work Profile of Danny Chishala (COMACO Person of the Month - July)
Self motivated and Enthusiastic, Danny Chishala joined Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) in January 2004. Initially employed as a Truck Assistant Danny worked with vigor and in no time was promoted to Stores Officer. As Stores Officer, Danny is responsible for stores keeping and shed management. Danny also assists in mobilising the construction and maintenance of COMACO offices in Mfuwe.
He has also been in the forefront of the construction and maintenance of Community Trading Centers (CTC) buildings.
In most cases, Danny is required to work over ten hours in a day throughout the week without rest. 
Much of his work during this time goes to distributing relief food under the Food For Assets programme (FFA), a programme which seeks to encourage local communities to develop assets such as maize fields, vegetable gardening and rice farming, poultry, bee-keeping and wells and, roads for themselves.
Danny also receives, stocks and monitors CTC commodities in the district. In difficult situations, Danny has proved to be a reliable person with the ability to initiate and implement ideas aimed at problem solving.
Due to Danny’s ability to withstand extraordinary pressure and his problem solving skills, WCS is proud to recognize him as COMACO person of the month.
