Mwangala Mukamba has worked in the Data and Research section for the past 2 years, where he manages data from the field and helps with the coordinate field extension activities. Based at the Lundazi COMACO office, Mwangala is an important link between the COMACO regional office and WCS/COMACO headquarters in Lusaka.
His duties range from Data management to other IT related issues as computer hardware repair and computer network security. Since his hire in 2005 Mwangala has been involved in a number of field surveys which are undertaken by WCS and each year, Mwangala dedicates his efforts to improving his many different skills ranging from data collection to report writing as well as training field staff.

Among the main activities Mwangala has been involved is:Poacher Transformation monitoring and data analysis, report writing; Baseline survey of rural household income and food security;Crop surveys; Field extension services coordination; COMACO assets inventory tracking by GPS like cassava, fish ponds, rice fields, goat and beehives, agro forestry, etc;Information dissemination to COMACO depots and Conservation farming compliance assessments for COMACO producer groups.
