It's Wild! Products are high quality, organic, value-added processed products that offer significantly more value to commodity prices paid to producers through their local COMACO depots, provided they comply with better farming and land use practices. These prices have given farmers up to 200% increase in value for commodities they previously produced and sold but without appreciating any substantial income for addressing family needs. COMACO supported products rely on basic commodities most any household can produce, thus enabling the COMACO market to have maximum impact on the greatest number of households and the greatest of landscape surrounding areas of biodiversity importance. These commodities include poultry, honey, rice, groundnuts, soybeans, banana, farmed fish and goats.
| Helping rural producers get their harvest processed and to high-paying markets for a sufficient range of commodities to integrate with land use planning, reliable household incomes, and conservation needs is a challenge COMACO has embraced. |
