Deep in Zambia, nestled into the trees along the banks of the wild Luangwa River as it flows past the North and South Luangwa National Parks, you’ll find the IT’S WILD! Bushcamps. Secluded and unspoiled, each camp is located in an area protected by the activities of the local Zambian COMACO members, and are majority community owned. Each chalet is constructed from locally sourced, renewable materials and designed for minimal visual impact in this pristine natural setting. Your every need is provided for by our cooks, staff and guides - many of whom are transformed poachers with stories to tell!
You sacrifice nothing at IT’S WILD! From hot showers to world class walking safaris, our bushcamps have it all, but without the crowds and formalness of other camps. Enjoy a drink while listening to hippos laugh in the Luangwa River – and watch out for our local elephants! Don't miss the chance to walk through this protected wilderness and learn about the wildlife, birds and plants being protected through the COMACO program. You can even visit an area village, and enjoy a traditional Zambian meal in the comforts of a traditional village setting.
It's Wild! Bushcamps are majority owned by local communities as an incentive for their contributions toward restoring wildlife on their traditional lands. Jointly managed by COMACO, services are professional and your friendly, reliable staff are all Luangwa Valley locals!
